Vintage Apple postcard collection

This is a collection of vintage Apple postcards and a Jobs/Mac stamp plus one card made on a Mac clone. Also included as a bonus are two related cards.

The far left 'It's Springtime' card shows a G4 iMac from Mac House in Berlin. At the bottom far left is a new unused bitten rainbow Apple card from the Think Different era. It has a 1-800 number for an Apple authorized reseller and shows the url www.apple.co.za.

In the center left row is a Come See the Apple Computer postcard from California that was sent in the 80's to a client from the Santa Rosa California Computer Center. It features the IIc, IIe, IIGS, the Mac Plus and the Mac SE and offers a rebate on selected add-ons. It is the only one that has been mailed.

The orange Whoa! card is an unused student promo from Australia. The Bondi iMac is from the Design Museum and credits Jonathan Ive - 1998.

The bottom of that column is a 1992 promo for Authorized Apple resellers.

Next column are 3 Think Different cards and at the bottom is a Steve Jobs stamp from the Republic of Guine-Bissau in Africa in MNH condition.

Right column is an Indigo iMac enclosing a racing engine with a blower from drive.com.au - not Apple but tossing it into the collection. Middle right is from National Postcard Week May 5-11, 1985 promoting an Apple clone dealer in Decatur GA. It was designed and printed with a Franklin Ace. There is no handwriting on it and no stamp or postmark and the condition is VG. Bottom right is just a bonus card that looks like the image Apple used on the Yosemite OS.

Click the photos for a larger view. Only saw one other since it was issued back in 2014 and never for sale anywhere. I took several photos in dappled sunlight to show the effect.

Rare large Macintosh Finder "Happy Face" window stickers

These rare brand new unused Apple dealer Mac OS Finder store window stickers measure 8" x 10". The photo was taken with light shining through to show what they will look like when the backing paper is removed - if it is ever removed; the value may be in the unused condition or framed. This is the splash screen boot icon of System 8 (and then 9 and X) that replaced the Happy Mac icon with the introduction of the PowerPC.

There are 3 available; they are rare and long out of production. These are not decals but cling stickers that were used on the inside of the display windows of Apple stores and resellers dating back to the mid 90's. They are installed like the clear protective screens on an iDevice. They are priced for the serious collector at $75 each but i prefer to sell as a set - buy the 3 for $190CDN and the price includes insured postage. To inquire contact Dave via kootenaymac.tel

a collection of early Apple, Mac iMac books

i ended up with a collection of books from around 20 years ago from the guy who taught me web editing, all seem in very good shape, many seem new. 5 weigh about 16 lbs so 5 or 6 would be like $65 mailed to Texas or 10 lbs to Ohio would be $50. sheesh! (a bit less in Canada). Some date back to System 7 and 8, several are repair and trouble shooting - even CAD stuff and a Photoshop 4 disk in one. I don't want them, and won't recycle them so they can sit on the bottom shelf of the book case where they have been for about a decade.

No idea of value, so make any offers but i won't box up one or two and haul to post office for peanuts plus I'm in outback Canada and that means customs forms and a chunk of time involved. click the pic for a larger view - some of you know more about the titles than I do. Hella stash for a museum or collector. Suggested offer: $125 CDN...
