a collection of early Apple, Mac iMac books

i ended up with a collection of books from around 20 years ago from the guy who taught me web editing, all seem in very good shape, many seem new. 5 weigh about 16 lbs so 5 or 6 would be like $65 mailed to Texas or 10 lbs to Ohio would be $50. sheesh! (a bit less in Canada). Some date back to System 7 and 8, several are repair and trouble shooting - even CAD stuff and a Photoshop 4 disk in one. I don't want them, and won't recycle them so they can sit on the bottom shelf of the book case where they have been for about a decade.

No idea of value, so make any offers but i won't box up one or two and haul to post office for peanuts plus I'm in outback Canada and that means customs forms and a chunk of time involved. click the pic for a larger view - some of you know more about the titles than I do. Hella stash for a museum or collector. Suggested offer: $125 CDN...

Mac OS X The Missing Manual - the book that should have been in the box

for sale as a set - 3 copies of The Missing Manual by David Pogue. The top 2 appear to have never been opened and covers Jaguar 10.2. The 3rd one is well used and covers Version 10.1. It is the 2002 first edition.

Price is $50 USD for the 3 books, shipping weight is 6 lbs, so postage will be $35 USD. (ships from Canada. that's $115 CDN total)

"The fact that the Mac OS X comes without a printed manual is a real problem, since Mac OS X is so different from the operating system that came before it. Now David Pogue, the number one bestselling Macintosh author, fills the gapwith the definitive guide to Mac OS X."
