Vintage Power Computing FIGHT THE POWER 1997 MacWorld T-shirt

Steve Says Fight The Power With Power T-Shirt from the 1997 Mac World Expo in SF, from the short era when Apple licensed out Macs to Power Computing. The label has a PowerComputing tag. It is a size XL made in the USA of 90% cotton and 10% polyester. It is preshrunk and cut larger than sizes you get now. It is a good quality shirt, it has never been worn or washed and has been well stored for almost 20 years. It is still in mint condition with no cracking in the screened graphics.

The back has the stenciled text: THE COUNTER-ASSAULT BEGINS! and below that is PowerComputing MacWorld Expo San Francisco 1997. The back text is the reason I bought this shirt is that it matched the nearly impossible to find Kozik Counter Assault Wintel PowerPC poster. It is reasonably priced for the PowerComputing collector at $70 CDN with postage at cost.

Classic Macintosh Power Computing T-shirt

This Power Computing size XL promo t-shirt is from the 1996 ad campaign. It has awesome graphics from an Apple authorised Macintosh clone manufacturer. The shirt is not new, it has been worn once and then stored for over 10 years. It has only been washed one time and that was by hand. You may never find another one of these shirts for sale. The front with the company logo on it is no great shakes but the large back graphic by Frank Kozik thunders like Charlton Heston at an NRA convention. This super rare vintage Mac authorized clone promo shirt was purchased from a high-tech collector in Germany. It is priced at $175 CDN and that includes postage. Power Computing VIP Boston Macworld 1996 t-shirt

This is a rare version of the 1996 Power Computing "We're Fighting Back For The Mac" promotional T-shirt featuring the infamous Frank Kozik designed Sluggo/Puggo that launched a lawsuit from Nancy Comics. On the back is Power Computing 1996 Boston Macworld Expo and an unusual MacWorld MVB V.I.P.  on one sleeve. There was a VIP room at the Mama Kin Music Hall in Boston in 1995, not sure about the details for '96. MVB might be Most Valuable Bruin but that is conjecture. The shirt has been worn and washed several times over the years and has some lightly discolored areas that are noticeable up close but none on the area of the graphics. A dry cleaning might help but a washing did not clean it as much as I had hoped. It is still a good wearable or collectible shirt from the days before Steve Jobs ended the Apple clone program. It is a Lofteez brand size XL made in the USA of 100% preshrunk cotton by Fruit of the Loom.

This classic '96 VIP Power Computing T-shirt is priced at $85 CDN with mailing at cost of postage. There is a companion poster and other versions of this shirt available as well, click the Power Computing label below. To inquire contact Dave via kootenaymac.tel

Apple 3rd. gen. iPod launch Live On Stage collection

Shown here are 3 Apple iPod posters announcing the debut of new iPods at Apple’s Live On Stage event back in 2003. The 3rd generation iPod Classic had launched a week earlier on April 28, 2003. The LIVE event took place at the Fashion Island Apple Store in Newport Beach, CA with DJ Hawkeye "spinning" 2 iPods.

The posters are printed on heavy stock paper and measure 20" by 36". They are in as new condition, no holes, rips or wear - in storage for 20 years. I would prefer to sell these items as a set of 3 posters for $300 CDN - shipping included. To inquire contact Dave via kootenaymac.tel

Oct. update:
a stash of 7 more mint Live posters have been found in the computer room! never hung or displayed - regular list price is $110 each plus shipping or buy the 7 posters for $650 and that includes shipping - or do me a big favour and buy all 10 for $800 (plus a bonus poster) - all prices in CDN$
