On October 5th, 1999, Steve Jobs held a special event at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, California where he introduced iMovie - and made one live. Apple was launching a new series of the iMac family with a semi transparent enclosure so the inside is visible, a feature that Jobs demonstrated by moving his hand behind it during the presentation. The new iMacs were the the iMac DV ("digital video") and iMac DV Special Edition with a larger hard drive and more ram. This is a very rare collectible poster as there are other versions of the Think Different "Cool" graphite iMac poster but this is the only one to announce the launch date at the Flint Center.
Very few of these were made as the iMac DV launch poster was for a one night local event and it was not distributed to dealers like most Apple posters. It measures approximately 24 by 36 inches and is in perfect condition. It is priced at $125 plus insured mailing in a heavy cardboard tube at cost of postage. There are other Think Different posters available, click the labels below. To inquire contact Dave via kootenaymac.tel
