Rare 1995 Apple Macintosh LC580 "Dragon Kid" T-Shirt

This is a new vintage internal Macintosh team member shirt from the development project for the LC580. LC stands for low cost, the models that were popular as school computers. It was the last Mac prior to the launch of the PowerPC.

The Apple code name for the LC580 was Dragonkid and the silkscreened graphics on this shirt are in perfect condition. This shirt is new, unworn and unwashed and stored carefully for 19 years by a longtime Apple employee who worked on the project. The LC580 (also known as the Performa 580CD in Asia, Australia and Canada) was introduced in 1995 and ran OS 7.5 to 8.1.

These mid-1990s Apple employee shirts were printed in very small quantities and handed out to project team members only. This shirt was never offered for sale and is a rare part of Apple history. It is a size Large Cotton Deluxe brand long sleeve mock turtleneck made by Anvil Knitwear in the USA of 100% preshrunk cotton. It is mint and priced at $125 with postage at cost. You will not find another anywhere in this condition. To inquire contact Dave via kootenaymac.tel
