Wanted Dead or Alive: Flavour Macs

Give me your poor downtrodden forgotten lonely and dusty iMacs. It's time they came out of the closet. I will salvage usable parts, erase hard drives and recycle the remainder in a responsibly green manner if they are dead and maybe offer a wee bounty if alive but no longer wanted. You can also post your ad here if you are selling a vintage Apple iMac.

If you are in the Nelson area and you have an old iMac that you no longer want, then just email d@ve or phone (1)250.354.4633 to inquire.

Slashdot | R.I.P. Original iMac: 1998-2003
"CNET News.com reports that, after five years, Apple has stopped selling the gumdrop-shaped iMac to the general public."
"And try telling people that Apple doesn't sell computers by the flavor anymore. :-)"
"Personally I prefer bland, opaque designs. Bright colors can make one feel cheerful and happy, which is so annoying. I would much rather be reminded of the non-descript conformity we all strive for."
"I especially liked the manuals... the shortest manuals ever, something like 20 words right?"
"Still, it will be hard to make a fishtank out of the flat-panel iMACs..."
"See what happens when you try to sell a computer with only one mouse button!"
